Take it easy on me. This seems a bit of a jungle out there. I try to get this running as fast as I can. It might still take me a few days.
Meanwhile enjoy my first cartoon on this site.
This is what happens of you allow a goat inside a house. He will quickly discover something to do.
In this case he found a tissue box to play with. Goats love to discover new things. They are inquisitive and often a wee bit destructive.
well If you wonder what I do. I’m a cartoonist. Why the hell a cartoonist? I just love drawing. I grew up with comic books around me. Asterix, Tin Tin, the Smurfs, Spirou, Gaston, Lucien, Maester, et cetera. American comics never tickled me fancy. I read them if they were lying around but I never bought them. It wasn’t my thing.
My home now is Australia. I’m in the beautiful town called Healesville, an hour east of Melbourne. It gets cold here in winter. I don’t care about that. I just split wood. That brings me to the next point. I grew up in Switzerland. Love the place, but now Australia is home. I don’t usually get homesick, but a few years ago when we went to visit our families, I felt like I need to go home again. Home to Australia. Stop crying, you sentimental sucks.
I’m also an Arborist. Some of you would go; a whaaaaat? Does tree monkey help? Sometimes I call myself a tree surgeon. At least that way I can have DR. as a prefix. Not bad, ay?
So, for the past 25 odd years I was climbing trees. Terrific job. A lot of hanging around. I enjoyed it a lot. Now I started a new chapter. Cartooning. I’ve been drawing a lot in the past couple of years. But I’ve always been drawing. I’ll get to that later.
I have to make this site look good. Bare with me on this and I see how I go. If you feel like there’s something you need to say, go for it. Help is welcome at this stage.
