Week 45. Peace Goat Challenge
What does Peace mean to you? This is a tricky question and a lot of people have different opinions about Peace. I don’t think Peace comes without War. Can you have Peace without War? I get way to philosophical. I don’t think this is the right spot here for that.
The goat kids found an old tank in their paddock and want to work out what it is. The kids climb all over it to work out what it does. I’m sure it doesn’t smell good. Probably all oily and greasy. They don’t care about that too much. then one shouts “Peace” into the end of the barrel. It must sound like a megaphone on the other end. Actually I have no idea. I always thought about doing it one day but never got around to it. I wouldn’t know where to find a tank in the first place. So the kids did it for me. It’s good to have a little bit of fantasy.
This challenge is moving along quite nicely. This is the 52 week challenge. I draw a new illustration every week and this weeks theme is Peace. You probably worked that out already. If you’re an illustrator you can go and check it out you find their site here: Illo 52 week blogspot You can find out a lot there. Please let me know if the link isn’t working. I do my best to have it all working but I’m not one of many working on this. It’s just me and me alone. I don’t even have an imaginary friend helping me. The kids are useless in helping, they just make a mess. So I leave them in the field and bother them only if I need cuddles. That’s right, I need cuddles too. They know that and are more than happy to share a cuddle. If you need one you have to work for it first. It’s not a one for one. Once they have accumulated enough cuddles they are willing to give some back. Don’t argue, it’s goat logic.
I hope you enjoyed this Peace illustration and I’ll see you here again in a weeks time.
Danny
