Goats just wanna have fun

Goats, goats, goats. Nothing but goats here. This is so much fun to have you here. I have a whole lot of goat and their cheeky little kids here for you.

How did this all start?

Two things came together. I draw cartoons and we ended up with goats. I put the two together and bingo. We have goat cartoons. Then along came the 52 weeks Illustration Challenge on Facebook. You can find it here: 52 Weeks illustration challenge.

Every week there is a new challenge. It comes as a topic like Farm or Coffee. We then draw or illustrate something according to that theme. I made it my challenge to include my little characters, the three little kids. At times it is hard, but as the title said, it’s a challenge. If you can’t do it, skip it. You can always catch up later.

That’s how I got into drawing a lot of these goat cartoons. Since we have a few goats on our land they are a wealth of inspiration. They show me how they operate. They are curious and cheeky, like the cartoons. They want to know everything. Best if I put something new into the enclosure. Even better if its new and they can eat it. I always place branches in there for them to pull apart. Thats when you don’t hear a pip from them. They are all eating and nothing can disturb them except more food. It’s hard to find a goat that doesn’t want to eat any more. Then they are sick and we don’t like sick goats.
