Another record MotoGP record broken at British GP

Another record broken at the recent MotoGP round at Silverstone in Great Britain. A young Spanish rider, Maverick Vinales, has won the latest round of MotoGP. Thus he was breaking another record, this time for Suzuki. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has re-entered the top lever racing category recently. Well, a few years ago.

But I have to apologise for my absence here from this blog. Work commitments  overseas and then I had to catch up with a lot of work. Of course, I know, excuses excuses. For the future I do my best to add the missing MotoGP cartoons and set the record straight. I need to be on here more often. There is sooooo much to do. I will get to it soon.

Now back to the record breaking in MotoGP.

It happened all weekend at the Silverstone circuit. Cal Crutchlow was on pole. The qualifying was rain affected and riders you ordinarily won’t see up the front were all of a sudden there. Cal just returned from his last record breaking performance. He won the previous round in Brno, the Czech Republic MotoGP round. But I add another picture in another blog. I try to play catchup. Anyway, the race started with a bang. A huge crash in the first lap and it had to be red flagged.

After the restart things settled down a little bit. There was fireworks between Rossi and Marquez, who were fighting like teenagers over a first kiss. No love lost there. I expect it to go on like that in the coming rounds. At the front we had Maverick who was checking out. His Suzuki was running like a dream in tricky conditions and his lead became manageable. Suzukis first win since Chris Vermeulen in (now don’t quote me on that) France 2005.

This was another great race in the wet.

The broken record was for Suzuki who won the first race since returning the elite racing.

Cheers

Danny
