Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year

It has ben far too long since the last post I wrote here. For that I must apologise. I have been busy and a lot of things have changed. They changed for the good, not for the bad. 

Lets see, my last post was a while ago. We were talking about giraffes. I guess I have to show you a lot of cartoons that I drew since then. I could have a post every day from here on and I won’t run short of cartoons to show you. You see, when you love to draw, you draw a lot. 

I want to show you more about the process of drawing. The way I draw. I have worked on my style for a long time. I developed my style, my signature characters, my personal touch of cartooning. That takes time. If course I keep changing and improving. It would be silly not to. 

This site has changed too. After all we are all changing. You probably find that I have grown a beard. Oh, I noticed a hush in the crowd. Of course you can’t see me. But yes I have grown a beard. Why you might ask. I suppose because I can. I don’t do these things to draw attention to myself. Maybe I didn’t need to show my chin to anyone anymore, so I removed it.

That last bit has nothing to do with cartooning. Now you start to learn more about the person behind the pencil. That is something I like to to a bit more this coming year as well. You know very little about me. Who I am and what drives me. I see if I can set up a page where you can ask me questions. I do my best to answer them reasonably quick. 

You might be discouraged from asking questions when you look at how frequent I post here. I make a conscious decision here to be more on this page. I want you to enjoy this page. Give me a feedback and request actions. I won’t blindly do as you ask. But I try to work with you to make this page more fun. 

I guess you don’t want to read too much of my gibberish here. Or anywhere else for that matter. I keep it brief today and get back to drawing. I have a lot to do still. I want to finish my comic. I show you more about that soon as well. 

Now, for the last part I like to wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year. May all your wishes come true.
