Paris Attacks
Paris got attacked over the weekend. On Friday night on November 13, 2015 the city of love suffered a blow to the guts. There is nothing nice to say about that. These things are terrible. Paris will bounce back and the people will go one. It is terrible new that this has happened. It brings it home that these things can happen wherever we go these days. Should we be afraid? NO!
Paris was rocked but not beaten. Love is free and has no place for hate. I had a hard time to draw something nice for this one. It took me a while to get this little cartoon out. I didn’t want to draw on something that gets misinterpret and abused. I didn’t want to condemn a group of people. I like to make them laugh. These are hard times for those in Paris and I sure they can do with a smile.
Earlier this year Paris already suffered an attack. The Charlie Hebdo office was targeted and fellow cartoonists were killed. This here is on a different scale. It targeted innocent bystanders. Party goers, diners, people in concerts. Just out of the blue they were gone. This could have happened anywhere.
I really don’t want to make a moral statement here. I like to give a little love to everyone. Take this cartoon and give it so someone who needs it. Just a little Love can go a long way.
