Is Rossi going to win the championship? He’s got a good lead. But you can never discount Marc Marquez. He’s young and full of energy.
He has the nickname of being a Mad Dog. What can I say? I drew him as a ‘Great Pyrenees dog. That’s about where he’s from, the foothills of the Pyrenees. I didn’t want to draw him as a vicious dog. I reckon there is a great rivalry, but it’s not hatred.
Valentino Rossis’ closest rival is Jorge Lorenzo, who finished the race in fourth. He made a fantastic move into the first corner around the outside. But he couldn’t hang onto to fast moving Marquez and Rossi. Dani Pedrosa finished third. Our Jack Miller managed 15th, starting from 18. He was at one stage 11th.
Now we.re heading into a summer break. So there is nothing much happening for a few weeks. The MotoGP cartoons will return early August.
