Week 40, Carnival Goat Challenge
That if you get photobombed? It’s not so bad unless it’s a major event, like the Flemington race in a few weeks time. This is the Challenge this week, Week 40. The Carnival Goat Challenge. Having the race carnival in town can be very exiting for the kids. And it’s a challenge just to keep the kids under control, especially if they are goats. Carnival time at its best.
We’re heading into that season. I’m not a follower of the horse racing scene. I never have and I probably never will. I can’t see the attraction. But that’s not bad, I leave more room for others to attend. I don’t even know the ins and out of a race. Some take it very seriously and read all the guides for al the races. There is a race every day of the week. Never mind. I have those little goats to look after.
The managed to get into the race course at Flemington. Apparently there are a lot of kids there every year. I would have thought that the Spring Carnival isn’t very suitable for the kids. I mean the two legged ones. I know that the four legged ones won’t have a chance of getting in. But if they do, I can jus imagine what sort of trouble they would cause. They would eat all the decorations and probably pull some of the table cloths down. They are just like that.
In conclusion, make note to self, never go anywhere near the race track with goat kids.
I hope you like this and we’ll see you in a weeks time
Danny
Very sweet goats. They look like trouble. I bet they could get stuck into the roses that Flemington race course prides itself on for the races. I don’t think goats mind a prickle or two, do they?
Oh no. They just love roses and the likes. As for the thorns, they just eat a bit more carefully. The roses at Flemington wouldn’t stand a chance. We had one big billy escape from us and have a guess where we found him? Yup, in the neighbours rosebushes, carefully dismantling it.
